Correctional and Outreach Resource Team Roundtable
Statement of Purpose

To improve the quality of library services and outreach services for individuals who are incarcerated in a state or county correctional facility.

To promote information sharing among library personnel serving individuals who are incarcerated.

To encourage membership in NYLA and the Roundtable to address issues related to improving and supporting library and information services provided by librarians, outreach departments and support staff for inmate populations.

To present programs at the Annual Conference of NYLA that reflect the needs of the Roundtable membership and that promote the development of library and information services for individuals in the state and county correctional system.
